Israel Syria Border – 2013.
Entrepreneur: Ministry of Defense
Segment: Upgrading 100 km along the border with Syria
Costs: 500 million NIS.
Following the civil war which started in Syria at 2011, the Israeli ministry of defense, in order to prevent a mass immigration from Syria, decided to built a high and massive border fence similar to the border fence which was erected in Israel’s border with Egypt during 2010-2012.
Moseroth won the project of production, supplying and building the fence along the complete border line (90 km), and managed to accomplish the mission in less than 1 year.
A major part of the fence is the unique patented razor mesh of Moseroth – “Kipod”.
N12 news site published on 12/11/2013:
“in one year only, the Israeli Syrian border at the Golan heights changed completely. The old fence which was built decades ago was replaced by a new one which should prevent any crosslines at this sensitive border. It’s stretching over 90 km from Hamat Gader at the south up to mount Hermon. It’s height is up to 8 meters and many advanced visual intelligence devices were installed over it.”
